Perfect Ten-nessee Studio in Twelve South

This adorable hideaway is tucked above a garage in the thick of 12 South. You will park behind the main house, in the alley, and take stairs up to the studio- so you must be able to climb stairs! There is a spacious deck, with slatted walls all around for a little privacy. The apartment is one room, divided into bed area, sitting area, kitchen, laundry/closet, and bathroom. The kitchen has the necessities- oven, stove, sink, coffeemaker, toaster, and fridge/freezer. It does not include microwave or dishwasher, and wouldn't be suitable for any major cooking. There is wifi, and a smart tv so you can access apps like netflix or hulu, however there is no cable. You can access anything in the apartment! Please do not go in the main backyard of the home or go up to the main house- that is a private residence separate from the studio apartment. I live just a couple miles down the street from this location, so I can easily be on hand if you need me! Otherwise, I will not be stopping by unless needed. I give guests the door code and instructions before they arrive, and they can make themselves at home! The main house is resided by friends of mine- they have me host for them due to their busy lives, so please let me know if you need anything and not them! 12 South is a vibrant neighborhood of historic houses, young families, and artists. Its business area is a very short walk away, and offers fabulous dining. drinking, and shopping. Also close is Sevier Park, which has a playground and farmers' market. If you are sticking to 12 South, I recommend walking, since parking can be hard to come by! Anywhere else in town, I recommend leaving your car at the house, and booking an Uber or Lyft- they are cheap and plentiful all over the city. There is room at the apartment for one car right by the garage. If you have more than one car, or a large SUV, you'll need to park on the street along Sherbourne or Knox Ave. (just make sure to not block anyone's driveway!).

The location is amazing. Tons of shops, restaurants, farmers market, coffee shops, bars, and more are only one block away on 12 South Ave. We actually live next door and will be available for help in any way. Set in the trendy 12 South neighborhood, the house is only one block away from the diverse restaurants, indie boutiques, hip bars, and coffee houses that line 12th Avenue South. Downtown’s iconic nightlife and dining scene is 13 minutes away by car. Parking is free and available. Music Row is a 5 minute, as is Belmont and Vanderbilt. The Gulch and downtown areas are 6-8 minutes away.
