Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! We aim for you to feel as though you are visiting family. The spacious yard features a large swing set for kids and a sandbox. Pat will likely greet you and give you a verbal tour of Alaska. Fast Wi-Fi. Guests have been treated to moose and babies right outside the back door, ravens, Steller jays, squirrels, and rarely a bear. There are plenty of resources for you to plan your trip. Guests especially like being able to do laundry.
