Rustic, self-contained building, at the top of my garden. Private, cosy space with double bed, hotplate, kettle, heater, tea & coffee, lots of books & magazines, and covered area for morning tea with the birds. Glamping for a fraction of the cost with electricity, but no running water. Water's provided in a 10l container, chemical flushing toilet in the same room. 20 mins from Bath, 20 mins from Wells, 30 mins from Bristol. Free road parking. Own car ideal, but 522 Bristol/Bath bus runs hourly.

The Shepherd’s Hut, Bath

In the summer of 2019 we installed a brand new shepherd’s hut in our large garden. The hut, built by a local company, is sat in an open space away from our own house, and has a great view down the garden. Our traditional shepherds hut is a luxury space for a thoroughly modern getaway. The ideal place to enjoy a countryside break at any time of the year. It is discretely located in a beautiful rural setting just two miles from the centre of the City of Bath. We are a short walk to local pubs and shops and ideally positioned for walkers and cyclists with safe bike storage available. For those who want to relax you can just sit back and enjoy the stunning panoramic views from the spacious deck.

It is a cosy, light and homely space situated in the sought after destination of St Catherine's, an area of outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt and private. The perfect place for year round breaks. The cabin is extremely comfortable, fully insulated and finished to a high standard. It has it's own patio area and guests are free to sit by the pond and enjoy the wildlife. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Countless walks & cycling routes. Historic Bath city centre is just eight miles away, with Bradford on Avon, Longleat and the artisan town of Frome even closer. We also have two friendly cats.
