Great place for either two couples or a family escape, sleeps four. Take some time to kick back & relax on the lounge deck chairs while you enjoy a coffee or glass of wine while taking in the panoramic view. Also available on site in a separate cottage, romantic unique couples escape with 4 post bed, spa and amazing views.

The Pearl of Whakatiwai

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A completely restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

Our apartment is a 5 minute walk to the village of Howick where shops, banks, bars and restaurants can be found: the Saturday Market is very popular! 4 local beaches can be accessed with a 10 minute drive or public transport can take you to the ferry (to sail to the Auckland CBD )or bus into town. The apartment is well appointed and ideal for travellers or visiting family. Our apartment is quiet and private and is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families .

Originally an implement shed the 'The Tiny House' has been recently renovated into a magical luxury retreat....only 35 mins from downtown Auckland, 20 minutes from the airport. Expect to see endless countryside, rural animals, ponds, native bush while sitting in the wooden hot tub soaking it all in and watching the sunset. You’ll love our place because of the outdoor space including the pool, the handy location and good access to public transport. It's a short stroll along the beach to the Takapuna Beach Cafe & Store for the best Brunch in Auckland. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
