Cabin on the Pond

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our beautiful home is less than 90 minutes from the Outer Banks and less than 2 hours from Raleigh. You can enjoy the city for a day and the beach the next. Our house is nestled on .75 acres with plenty of parking. Short drive to Williamston or Plymouth for restaurants and shopping. Sorry, due to excessive hair complaints and our cleaning crew not being able to remove hair in available cleaning time we are unable to welcome pets at this time.

Cozy Cabin & Farm stay @ Owl Tree Acres Homestead

Sunflower cabin is a sweet little rustic cabin with friendly homesteading artist/host located on Owl Tree Acres Farm. Cozy sleeping for 4, a dorm refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, coffeemaker,. Wifi with desk and Smart HD TV are provided. A “separate” beautiful bath house is located near the Communal fire pit away from the cabin. No bathroom facilities in cabin. Pets allowed with $30 pet fee. No pit bulls, rottweillers or other agressive dog breeds allowed. No pets allowed on beds.

Use as a workspace or a base to explore the local waterfront, shops & restaurants while learning about Washington's place in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars including the Underground Railroad. Visit the NC Estuarium and enjoy the many water activities on the Tar-Pamlico River. Hike the trails in Goose Creek State Park just 10 miles away. Then come back and relax!

I Built in 1913, this historic site was originally the Norfolk-Southern Cafe. In the 1930s, the building was the site of grocery stores and meeting spaces, eventually becoming a popular coffee shop called "The Coffee Caboose". The space was converted into a private house, located steps from the waterfront and downtown dining and shopping. We sincerely invite you to come and enjoy our waterfront town.
