Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Flying Yorkshireman railway carriage with views.

We have built this Pullman style railway carriage and sighted it over looking the old Nidd Valley railway line that runs through the farm. He’s 24ft by 9ft and very luxurious. With shower, toilet, kitchen, heating... in fact everything you will need for a stay away. We have reclaimed many railway items including the four handles, luggage rack, lamps, signs and much more. He is authentic as he can be. Outside is covered area overlooking wonderful Dales view, fire pit, seating and table.

We look forward to welcoming you to our renovated Cow Byre just a short drive from Ripon. Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

The Nestbox is a private, rustic cabin just for two located on our farm at Mallard Grange, close to Fountains Abbey. Mainly open plan inside the carefully chosen vintage and upcycled furniture coupled with modern kitchen and high quality finishing touches make this a great place to stay.
