Trailhead cottage is just steps away from miles of cross-country skiing, snow shoeing or even biking and hiking trails in the “no snow” months. Downtown Houghton has many neat shops, restaurants, coffee shops, even a brew pub.

Captains Quarter's is located in a unique fishing village with the Big Traverse River on one side and Lake Superior on the other. Inside the home large windows provide views of both the lake and the river. Your private beach on Lake Superior is 110 steps away from the back door. The sunrises along with views of the Huron Mountains, sandstone cliffs of Louis Point are a site to see, from the comforts of the home. Snowmobile trail is very close just 9/10's of a mile away.

About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.
