La casa sull'albero è stata giustamente chiamata Osprey Treehouse per via dei numerosi falchi pescatori che hanno trascorso l'estate librandosi in aria e osservandoci mentre costruivamo questo edificio ottagonale di 6 metri intorno a un unico grande abete di Douglas di 1 metro. Le finestre di grandi dimensioni e la porta scorrevole regalano la sensazione di trovarsi in alto tra gli alberi. Può ospitare 2 adulti. Per motivi di sicurezza, non sono ammessi animali domestici o bambini di età inferiore a 12 anni. L'ingresso è in piano e il parcheggio è vicino. Le spese di pulizia sono di 50 $ e le tasse applicabili sono già incluse nella fattura.

Twin Oaks House, Scenic Highway, Mosier

Twin Oaks è una casa doppia ristrutturata arroccata su una collina di basalto con 11 bellissimi acri che si affacciano sui vigneti e sul fiume Columbia. Le viste includono il fiume e la gola a ovest e a nord. In primavera si possono ammirare le cascate sulle scogliere di Washington. Situata a 8 miglia a est di Hood River, Twin Oaks si trova vicino a Mosier, sulla panoramica Highway 30. Si trova nel cuore della gola del fiume Columbia, con escursioni a piedi, in bicicletta, sport acquatici, rampa per imbarcazioni e aree sciistiche nelle vicinanze. Goditi le numerose cantine e microbirrerie locali della zona.
