Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens. It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

The Mill

Recently refurbished to a high standard. The Mill nestles on the banks of the River Lyvennet. It is a tranquil setting surrounded by wild life. This property accommodates up to six people. The Mill is surrounded by footpaths to explore. There is free fly fishing for guests along our private stretch of river banks. Kings Meaburn is a small farming village 5 miles west of Appleby and 10 miles south of Penrith. You will find the White Horse Inn in the village serving local ale/food.

Maulds Meaburn, spacious house, beautiful village

We offer attractive self catering accommodation in a quiet picturesque rural Cumbrian village in the Lyvennet Valley at the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You will enjoy exclusive use of this well equipped house for 5 guests (with additional mezzanine double sofa bed if required). Set in it's own beautiful garden with an open aspect over fields, this area is wonderful for walking and cycling and with easy access to the Lakes District. Dark skies are a notable feature.

Hilltop Lodge (wildlife abundant), Colby, Appleby.

Hilltop Lodge is a beautiful detached timber building set in enclosed garden (perfect for dogs). It's open plan, with a wood-burning stove to keep you warm on an evening, with well-equipped kitchen and dining area. It has large windows with lots of natural light. The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. It’s a great base for relaxing, enjoying wildlife, adventuring, or being creative. 11am checkout.

The Lake House (Windermere)

The house, dating back to 1837, has been refurbished to a very high standard. The lake is across the road from the property boundary, so there are lake views from many rooms and from the large gardens and meadow. We have 4 luxurious double bedrooms, all ensuite, there is a beautiful kitchen and dining room, and an elegant drawing room. Close to Ambleside (centre of the Lake District), with easy access to other villages, the lakes, and the fells. On site parking. As good as it gets!

Jitty Cottage sits within yards of the beautiful River Eden in Cumbria’s historic market town of Appleby. Attached to the owners’ home, offering superb holiday accommodation, ideally positioned for exploring the Lake District & within walking distance of the town’s amenities - shops, cafes & restaurants/pubs. Jitty is open plan complete with kitchen, living room, bathroom and gallery bedroom with a small outdoor seating area to rear. Open plan layout is not suitable for children.

Servants Wing at Claughton Hall, Sleeps 4

The Servants Wing is situated within the the Stunning and Imposing Claughton Hall. The views from the property over the Lune Valley from an elevated hilltop position are spectacular. The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the private driveway. Whilst adjoining the main house the accommodation offers a great deal of privacy and includes a separate entrance & private outdoor area.

The Byre - cottage in converted barn nr Ullswater

Ideal for couples and young families. Completed in 2020, The Byre is one of 3 cottages in our old stone barn near Ullswater in the Lake District. Thornythwaite Farm is in Matterdale which is a peaceful valley off the beaten track but with great access to all the popular areas of the Lakes. There are plenty of walks from the door and a good pub, The Royal, is just a short stroll down the road.
