Situato presso la Todd's House Farm, alla periferia della storica cittadina di Sedgefield. Situato su una tranquilla stradina, The Stables si trova a pochi passi da Sedgefield, che ha molto da offrire con i suoi pub, caffetterie, negozi di souvenir e il pittoresco Hardwick Park. È facilmente raggiungibile sia dalla A1 che dalla A19, e da lì si può accedere senza problemi a Durham, alle Yorkshire Moors e Dales, al Northumberland e alle zone circostanti.

A 8 minuti a piedi da spiagge e scogliere. In una giornata limpida, la vista si estende fino a Blyth e Whitby. La spiaggia sabbiosa ha meravigliose formazioni rocciose e un'abbondanza di vetro di mare dopo l'alta marea. Avvistamenti regolari di foche, delfini, cervi e uccelli rari. Inoltre, la spiaggia è il luogo delle scene finali di Get Carter con Michael Caine e Britt Ekland (1970).
