Programma

We will cross the old town and reach an old dairy factory where we will learn how the real mozzarella is produced. You will understand which are the processes needed in order to produce this fresh cheese before it reaches our tables. On top of that, I will tell you what are the obstacles that Mozzarella meets when it is commercialized in a legal and healthy way.
During this demonstration, I will talk about the tight relationship that bonds together the Mozzarella production and the Camorra (Neapolitan Mafia), sharing with you some information about this "hot topic", always from a professional journalistic perspective.

Tonia war sehr nett und hatte viele interessante Informationen. Sowohl über die Neapolitanische Maffia als auch zu Mozzarella. Der Mozzarella hat fantastisch geschmeckt und ich würde die Tour immer weiterempfehlen!

This is the real deal. If you love cheese (if you don’t, you will after this), you can’t miss Tonia’s morning tour with Angelo. Stay away from the tourist traps and experience Naples like a local with a behind-the-scenes look at the traditional mozzarella-making process. Of course, you can’t walk away without tasting the goods either. Tonia even showed me some of the other local treats like sfogliatella after discovering a mutual love of ricotta. Tip: She’s a wealth of Naples knowledge, so bring all of your trip-planning questions too.

The experience was one of a kind. Tonia took us to the last dairy where they make mozzarella by hand. Together with Angelo, the cheesemaker, she explained the process of making mozzarella, which was fascinating. Afterwards she recommended lots of places for us to go to and took us to a little wine bar where we enjoyed our fresh mozzarella with bread and a glass of red. Definitely recommend the experience and very happy to have met Tonia. She made our day!
