I mattoni originali e il legno massello di questa casa unica di 170 anni hanno superato la prova del tempo. Prendi un ascensore (o le scale) fino al 2° piano. Situato nel cuore del centro storico di Leavenworth, la prima città del Kansas. A pochi isolati di distanza si trovano diversi negozi di caffè, panetterie, boutique e bar. Situato a soli 16 km dalla pluripremiata città turistica di Weston, che vanta molti birrifici, cantine e sentieri escursionistici. Non troverai niente di simile altrove! Ampi pavimenti originali in legno massello posati 165 anni fa e pareti originali in mattoni che hanno superato la prova del tempo. Una vista da nove finestre che si affacciano sul nostro immacolato municipio con la statua della libertà e la statua di Abraham Lincoln. (Lincoln annunciò la sua candidatura alla presidenza proprio lì a Leavenworth!) E pensare che molto probabilmente attraversò la strada ed entrò nel nostro edificio, che all'epoca era un saloon! Entrerai nel nostro loft dalla strada tramite tastierino, e troverai una piccola stanza che conduce al nostro nuovo ascensore (grande porta d'acciaio) per raggiungere il 2° piano. Le indicazioni per l'ascensore sono sulla parete. Molto facile, basta chiudere sempre la porta a fisarmonica bianca dell'ascensore, nel caso in cui qualcuno lo chiami da un altro piano.
