We invite you to experience a relaxing and rejuvenating 'Retreat' or Get-A-Way in our Tree Home Suite on Whidbey Island WA...just 1 hour north of Seattle. You'll surely transend the bustle of busy life and be transformed as you immerse yourselves in this incredibly peaceful and healing environment. Enjoy 'full-circle' views of rich woods in our 250 Sq ft Octagon Tree Home with a gorgeous cedar tree going straight up through the center of the living space! A solid stairway travels 13 ft above the ground, leading to the 10' x 12' covered deck and your doorway to heavenly rest and retreat! Surround windows and skylights in the roof peak allow you to feel what it's like to be completely immersed in a beautiful, serene, healing forest of cedar, fir, hemlock, maple, alders, varieties of fern...and oh...enjoy watching and listening to our 'resident' deer, owls, ravens, eagles and many other birds. Look up through the skylight roof peak to behold a seemingly unending kaleidoscope view of tree limbs circling their trunks as they reach high in the sky. Be sure to see all the photos posted above including views of the beach, water and stunning sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.....easily accessible, less than 1/2 mile away. This gem is best suitable for adults, but we do allow children 12 and older too. Three adults can manage better than 4 because the hide-a-bed is a 'half-way-between-twin-and-double' size. However it has slats and an excellent quality foam mattress so it does not have the typical hide-a-bed 'bars' to contend with, nor does it sink in the middle. We provide single-sized, thick and dense foam pads and linens when needed for extra people. Please feel free to ask us how we can best meet your unique needs. Accommodations in the Tree House include: Queen Bed, "Sort of" Double Hide-a-bed Sofa (see paragraph above), Desk, Dining Table, Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV and DVD player. Duckless heatpump for heating and air. The electric 'Fireplace' adds warmth and ambiance. We provide a fridge (with freezer), microwave, dishes and silverware for prep and eating simple meals, warmed up left-overs, etc. We just don't allow 'cooking', using hot plates or fry pans, etc.... The fire pit may be used to enjoy a campfire and grill or roast hamburgers, hotdogs and marshmallows. Substantial cooking here with your own cooking equipment is not encouraged because that would require more extensive 'clean-up' than just a few dishes and utensils Our drain field is small and we want to keep the flow of gray water into it 'frugal' and biodegradable as much as possible. Your own private (and VERY cute) Shower House just a few footsteps away provides a shower, sink and state-of-the-art, no-odor composting toilet. We do have a porta-potty (marine type) on the deck of the Tree House for the middle-of-the-night needs so you don't have to trudge down in the dark to the composting toilet in the Shower House. Please read the house rules before you reserve to see if this type of accommodation is right for you. We DO NOT!!! provide charging for any electric vehicle.

Cottage Mutiny Bay che accetta animali domestici - accesso alla spiaggia!

Goditi il tempo in questo accogliente cottage di Whidbey, che accoglie anche i cani, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia sulla bellissima Mutiny Bay. Il legno di pino nodoso, il camino a gas e tutti i servizi di una casa lo rendono un luogo ideale per il divertimento in tutte le stagioni! Goditi il tempo sul ponte per il barbecue o la vasca idromassaggio (adatta a tre persone). Il cottage si trova a meno di 2 km dalla città di Freeland, dove potrai trovare tutti i servizi, e vicino alle pittoresche città di Langley e Coupeville. Il cottage può ospitare cinque persone, quindi porta tutta la famiglia per divertirti a Whidbey!

Rose Bluff

Tranquillo monolocale ristrutturato con ingresso privato, situato nel seminterrato. Sorseggia il caffè del buongiorno mentre ammiri le montagne olimpiche, la vista sull'acqua e i tramonti mozzafiato. Aquile e falchi pescatori volano in alto. Questa struttura accoglie i cani e dispone di un cortile completamente recintato. Goditi biancheria da letto di lusso, sauna, braciere, miele biologico e caffè. La struttura è dotata di Powerwall per un'alimentazione continua durante le interruzioni. C'è un accesso privato alla spiaggia e patii esterni coperti e scoperti, nonché un parcheggio privato recintato.

Storico chalet sulla spiaggia di Discovery Bay con viste mozzafiato

Prova la guarigione e la pace con il suono delle dolci onde sulla baia di Discovery. Il nostro chalet è stato costruito nel 1939 da nostro nonno, uno dei primi uomini d'affari di Port Townsend. Ha saggiamente riconosciuto che per i decenni a venire questo sarebbe stato un luogo di riposo prezioso, apprezzato da 5 generazioni. I nostri due kayak per principianti e la nuova tavola da SUP sono disponibili per l'affitto. Esplora l'incredibile bellezza del Parco Nazionale Olimpico, a pochi chilometri di distanza, con escursioni alle foreste pluviali, ai ghiacciai e ai laghi di montagna.

Situata su quasi un ettaro di terreno con una privacy difficile da trovare, questa casa dispone di un vialetto circolare, terrazza a tutta lunghezza, master suite con terrazza privata, cucina da chef con elettrodomestici di fascia alta e vicinanza a tutto ciò che Whidbey Island ha da offrire.

Moonrise Cottage

Questo tranquillo cottage costiero è stato costruito nel 2019 e si trova su 5 acri di prato verde lussureggiante, giardini e si affaccia su Deer Lagoon e Useless Bay. Questo casale moderno e luminoso è degno di una rivista, immacolato e dispone di tutti i mobili, elettrodomestici, biancheria da letto e asciugamani nuovi di zecca e di alta qualità, ed è completamente attrezzato per i cuochi gourmet. Per i bambini, il cottage offre un box, un seggiolone e giocattoli. Per gli adulti, su richiesta, sono disponibili bocce e croquet.

Sorseggia un caffè a goccia locale ammirando i panorami a 180 gradi del Monte Baker, della Cascades Mountain Range e del Holmes Harbor frequentato da Grey Whales. Raggiungi a piedi la fattoria. Accesso privato alla spiaggia tramite un sentiero lussureggiante. Nuovo mini riscaldamento split e aria condizionata appena installati!
