The dining room has great views with a pair of French doors in to the living room which has a large double sofa bed & another pair of doors in to the garden.. Situated on private grounds the converted rustic, small, stone built barn with adjoining kitchen, shower & toilet pod-NOTE TOILET IS NEXT DOOR TO THE SLEEPING AREA - SEE PHOTOS. The sleeping area has woodburning stove, 2 armchairs, chest of draws, radiator & superking sized bed (can be converted into 2 singles upon request). Surrounded by fields & 500 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Ulverston. It is situated 10 minutes from the start of the Cumbria Way walk.

Drakes Cottage
Drakes Cottage is situated within the courtyard of a former 18th century coaching stables. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.

Church View Cottage, Beetham
Nestled within the picturesque village of Beetham, Church View Cottage is a beautifully renovated former alehouse dated late 1700. The historic Cumbria village of Beetham stands at the northern edge of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage provides a unique holiday retreat on the outskirts of the stunning Lake District World Heritage Site, the Yorkshire Dales and also within easy reach of Leighton Moss and Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserves.

A delightful fully equipped first floor apartment for two. (A babe in arms is welcome) 1 small pet allowed The apartment is a minute walk to all the amenities of Cartmel which includes the Race course and the famous Michelin starred Restaurants. We are just far enough from the villiage centre to be peaceful and relaxing. Tea and coffee is provided together with a welcoming drink. We also provide a free permit for on street Parking just outside the front door.
