Welcome to our warm and inviting historic farm home. Enjoy a quaint and cozy stay with easy access to Athens, UGA, Madison, Monroe, and Watkinsville. You will enjoy the entire second floor. The space offers two bedrooms with a queen bed in each, a third room with a double bed that can be used as a bedroom or common room, and a full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub and shower. There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

The Portico cabin, built in the 1870's, is cozy, rustic and carefully preserved. It is ideal for a couples getaway, small family staycation or solo retreat to escape everyday life and connect with nature. Enjoy the cabin and surrounding 60 acres, featuring walking trails, fishing pond, a large fire pit, river access with canoes, and historic church, The Portico. Escape to a tranquil, adult-only, 1-bedroom cottage on 12 acres of peaceful hardwood forest. Spend the morning lazing on the screened porch or walk the trails & watch for deer and birds. Just 6 miles away, Watkinsville offers small town shopping & dining. Only a 20 min drive for antiquing and dining in historic Madison or head to Athens, home to UGA and all the shopping, dining and night-life of a college town. At night, relax by the fire-pit while you roast marshmallows and listen to the owls.

1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!
