Our quaint little River House rests on the beautifully natural marsh grass banks of the Whale Branch River in a quiet rural neighborhood. It is located only 9 miles from Historic Downtown Beaufort and 15 miles from Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Hunting Island State Park's sandy beaches, nature tails, and lighthouse tours are a scenic 40 minute drive away. You can swim, fish, kayak or go boating right from the dock in our own back yard. When you arrive; you won't want to leave!

Quiet family oriented neighborhood. 10 miles from Kiawah Island featuring beautiful beaches and some of the best golf in SC including the famous PGA course at Kiawah Golf course. Folly Beach 12 miles away and downtown Charleston 10 miles away. The interior has been recently renovated with 2 smaller bedrooms and a medium size master bedroom. The home includes a large deck for coffee and a mid size bbq grill. **Unfortunately due to a few inconsiderate guests, we no longer allow pets. *** Sorry.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

This cottage has a unique combination of being close to everything, while still maintaining a very private feel. The cottage is accessible by its private, dedicated drive. This new guest cottage has a King sized bed, as well as a pullout xl twin. The home boasts a large screen tv viewable from every angle, a full sized bath, full kitchen, exquisite outdoor shower, fire pit, full laundry, and all the amenities of home. 10 minutes to Beaufort/Parris isl. Cottage in the Oaks is truly a dream cottage. Our goal was to make this cottage a restful, peaceful home away from home. We are nestled on 2.5 acres with multiple ancient Live Oaks. You will feel as though you are in a country setting but are only a 2 minute drive to the center of Historic Summerville, with multiple choices of restaurants, local shops and of course bars. Play pickleball? We know all the local courts and teams, we are happy to help you find a game!
