Relax in this spacious, serene space, surrounded by nature. Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck. Perfect for a get-away, visiting your college student at Houghton University (walking distance), hiking in Letchworth State Park, antiquing in Angelica or Cuba. In the well appointed and stocked kitchen you will be greeted by homemade bread, coffee, fruit, and breakfast essentials. An air mattress, cot, and Pack-n-Play are available for children. Nestled in the village of Almond, we're between Alfred University, Alfred State College, and Hornell. The apartment is near Wellsville, Swain Ski Resort, the Finger Lakes Trail, and not far from Stony Brook and Letchworth State Parks.

The Nut House

This apartment is located in a beautiful country setting. There is private parking available for guests. Located on the first floor is the entrance to the hallway. Once inside you will have a private door to enter your private apartment. Outside you can enjoy your private patio in the back, a well kept yard, and very nice gardens. There is no stove, but we do offer amenities for simple cooking and reheating food. We also offer a basic continental breakfast with cereal and coffee.

Carney’s Country Escape

This single level home is located just outside of Hornell, NY in a quiet, secluded country setting. Letchworth 45 mins, Watkins Glen 1 hour and Niagara Falls 2 hours. We purchased the property in 2018 and made necessary upgrades while retaining the original character of this classic home. The view of the backwoods from the living room is spectacular! We live at the adjacent property located a few hundred feet away, so we are available as needed.

The open space in the living room makes it feel like a large space, but still cozy at the same time. This is a one bedroom tiny home, but if you’re willing, the couches or an air matress can accommodate a few more.
