La struttura si trova a Otse, un piccolo e pittoresco borgo circondato da colline, a circa 60 km da Gaborone. Otse è la famosa Lentswe la Baratani, che tradotta in inglese significa Lover 's Hill. La leggenda narra che due amanti fossero vietati di sposarsi in collina e siano scomparsi. La collina è a breve distanza, +-4km, dal cottage con facile accesso.
