In more recent years it has been a friends & family suite, utilized as the perfect staging area for skiing, mountain biking & playing at the lake. Now all guests can experience this hidden gem. The kitchen, sofa, dining table, & bunk beds provide guests with more comforts than a standard hotel room. Adventure lovers are delighted by the authentic art & mountain décor adorning the studio.

Accessed by stairs only (no elevator!), on second floor. Located on McFadden Plaza, walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Our guests tell us this is the best location in Carson City, in the heart of downtown! We have many happy permanent residents so if you need an extended stay, just ask us!

The B Street House- Uncle Henry's Room

Set on a mountainside of deep and rich history — the world famous Comstock — this fainted lady was fully restored in 2007 to its original 1875 luster including, a reproduction of the original parlor wallpaper. The grounds are fully landscaped and the property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places kept by the National Park Service. The Sam Davis Room upstairs is the largest guest room and features Virginia City's famous 100-mile view into central Nevada.

White House Inn Genoa - Cottage

The Cottage is our most popular room featuring a fully equipped kitchen. The room features a small living area with a gas fireplace for those cozy winter nights. Air conditioning is provided for your comfort in the summer. A gated patio is available for this dog-friendly room. We do require a $35 cleaning fee per visit when you bring your fur baby. Two dogs, 50lb max allowed. Dogs must never be left unattended and are only allowed in pet friendly areas. No extra guests, non-smoking property.
