The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Our space looks directly into a wooded area and the Mill Stream runs behind us. Take a walk along the stream to our neighborhood's park, playground, and ball fields or relax in our private, covered outdoor seating area complete with a gas fireplace. If touring is your desire we are in the "heart" of Amish country! This space is cute, comfortable and completely private.

A thoroughly modern private cottage with kitchenette alongside our 1800s stone farmhouse on 11 acres with meadow, woods, walking trail, pond, & creek along Conestoga River. 10mins to downtown, 15min to outlets and Sight Sound Theatre, EZ access to tourist centers. Less than 10 mins to Millersville Univ. Vey quiet surroundings away from traffic. Outdoor deck use. We are a vegetable and flower farm. Life in Lanc is located on the outskirts of downtown Lancaster City, just 15 minutes from the city square, Millersville, and from Strasburg and Amish country. This townhome was just built in 2020, and the Airbnb basement portion was finished in 2022, giving this space a new clean and fresh aesthetic. While the rest of the townhome is lived-in by us, the owners, all of the space you are booking is completely private.
