Hiking nearby at Colonel Denning State Park, Audubon Hawk Watch, Opossum Lake and Little Buffalo State Park. Outdoor fire pit next to the creek and propane fire pit on the back porch for rainy days. Gruber Homestead Settler's Cabin

The cabin is the original Settler's Cabin on the Gruber Homestead settled in 1737 by Henrich Gruber. The restoration combines the originality of the cabin with the modern amenities that make this a unique and comfortable getaway experience. Located on a rural property of 28 acres in Berks County, PA. Miniature donkeys and horses graze the pastures and add to the charm of the cabin. No pets allowed.
