Cosy shepherd's hut with stunning views on NC 500

Perfectly situated on the NC500 and cycle route, this newly built well equipped shepherd's hut is a cosy place to rest your head. It can sleep up to 3 people. A microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and crockery make up the kitchen area. There is free wifi and a digital radio with bluetooth to enjoy. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the dark sky at night is excellent for star gazing. Red Kites frequently fly overhead.

A beautiful and tranquil setting, you will find it peaceful and relaxing. Facilities include a double bed in the main bedroom which can be split into two single beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The property is a converted attic space and therefore has a sloping ceiling so be careful not to bump your head! Fort Augustus is 13 miles away and offers spectacular views down Loch Ness. Inverness is 20 miles away and offers a variety of shops and restaurants.

The Bothy is a self-contained wooden cabin on the edge of our own woodland at West Cottage and Stables, nestling in the heart of Glen Lyon and at the beginning of many excellent walks and cycle rides. There's a double bed, extra bed, luxury bathroom, and wood burning stove. There's a hob, fridge, and everything you need to cook with, but no oven. We can put something in the oven for you up at the house if you need us to.
