Riserva naturale amazzonica: alloggio e alberi

In the heart of the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve, Peruvian Amazon, Iquitos, we have a strategical and beautiful lodge-house of 2 floors, completely in wood and ecological, with a private room with 2 beds more other beds in another half open space on the 2n floor, big and comfortable ecological bathroom (we use ash no water), and a spacious bar- kitchen (in the local way, known as "tushpa", with grill on fire), all surrounded by pure nature, gardens and little streams of fresh water. The room is provided of mosquito nets and all kind of protection. We have also a private room, with wedding room. In the lodge, according to the eco rules for a Natural Reserve, light is provided not by electricity but candles and the water for bath and shower is taken by the closest water streams, and collected in special containers. It's the perfect place to get contact with this part of the Amazon forest, protected area and National Reserve from 2004, due to its flooded forests and the unique in its genre forest on white sand. Every year we receive many biologist from all the world, to study and classify many species of birds (in just this area we have 500 hundred of species of birds - in all Perù there are 2000!). We generally offer, if you wish, FULL HOLIDAYS PACKAGES, of 2 days or more, including not only accommodation, but also food (all fresh and local food like fish, meat or vegetables), transportation, trekking through the Reserve as excursions in jungle and rivers by boat, and visit to Amazon communities. This is a National Natural Reserve: we think that the best part is discover it! Let us know if you are interested in. The lodge is not in the same city, it's in the National Reserve, so far 40 minuts by bus from the city, and 50 minuts walking in the same Reserve (look the map). Lodging in this wild and pure vegetation you can keep in touch of the hundreds of different species of animals and birds, experience we believe unique!

Antares Amazon Lodge is located near the Native village of Pampa Caño approximately 116 km (72.8 miles) west of Iquitos. Access is by road Iquitos to Nauta, 1. 2 hours and then by boat, Nauta to Amazon Antares Lodge, 1-2 hours. The lodge has spacious private rooms with mirror, wardobe, hand towels, lavatory, table, chair, shower and private bathroom, all rooms are heavily screened with mosquito nets. Electricity is available to our guests from a solar panel and generator 24 hours.
