Duck Mountain Provincial Park is also nearby, with Child's Lake about a twenty minute drive. The kitchen is fully outfitted, bring your own food. the basic bathroom supplies are provided & washer/dryer is available. Bedding provided for the 7 beds. Bring sleeping bags if more people than beds available.

PETE’S PLACE

Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (5 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2024) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

Easy lake access is walking distance and all terrain vehicle lake access less than a minute drive away.

Although restaurants and shops are only a 5 minute drive away , the area is peaceful and serene.

A quiet farmyard. It is situated half mile North of Neubergthal-a national Heritage site. The Red Granary was a building used for storing grain, and it was red and it had green doors. It is an original style from the early 1900’s We live on the same farmyard with 3 dogs and farm animals. But we each have our own space. Whether a guest wants to interact or wants privacy, both are easily attainable and respected. You MUST register your dog as a guest.
