The Wheelhouse Inn - CROW'S NEST

The Crow's Nest is a standalone unit situated at the top of the property. It is the most spacious of our 5 accommodations with the biggest views. Every room has spectacular views over Tasman Bay to the ranges in the west. The Crow's Nest has 2 bedrooms ... the master with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, stove, fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, sugar and a full range of crockery and cutlery. From there you can move to the dining room or out on to the spacious balcony which has a bbq and outdoor seating for casual dining. The lounge has a flat screen tv, dvd and there is Free WIFI. The bathroom is upstairs with the master bedroom and has a shower, toilet and also a washing machine and dryer. Free parking is directly outside your accommodation and the whole unit is surrounded by native bush.

The studio is attached to the main house but is very private and has its own external access and patio. The studio opens out onto a sunny patio with a BBQ avaliable and an outdoor table and chairs. The studio is self-contained and has everything you want for a relaxing and private stay. There is unlimited Wifi and a smart TV with Netflix and a kitchenette.

'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.

Central Nelson: Sunny Private Studio with a view

The best of both worlds! A quiet 1/2 acre sanctuary with extensive views out to sea but only a short distance to town. Completely separate lockable access to a generously sized, sunny studio apartment, with undercover parking next to your entrance. A mountain bike park on the back doorstep or a scenic walk into town. The walk back up is steep and requires moderate fitness. Otherwise sit back and drink in the view or wander in the garden. Breakfast of home made muesli/yoghurt and toast.
