Our guest suite very comfortably sleeps four and includes a lounge room, a well-equipped kitchenette and access to a communal full kitchen. Views extend across the ecovillage property to the surrounding bush. The centre of town, including the Castlemaine train station and a fantastic selection of cafes, restaurants and cultural attractions, is just a 15-minute walk.

With kitchenette + own bathroom + loft style bed, it has everything you need for a special night away. Including a fire pit + outdoor dining space, along with wood heater inside it's perfect for all seasons. Breakfast of hand gathered eggs, bread, milk supplied for Fri - Sun stays. Loft bed is up a ladder. We do have peacocks, dogs, mini goats, + poultry on the property.

The cottage is lovely and light filled, charmingly decorated with modern conviniences. Beautiful views of the surrounding area and friendly locals to offer advice and great food if you choose to eat at their venues. This place is a gem and just a short drive from Melbourne.

The stone cottage is positioned on top of the hill in the heart of Chewton Bushlands and provides amazing views across to Mount Macedon and Mount Franklin. During summer spend the evenings enjoying the stars eating a BBQ dinner at the outdoor setting and in winter on those cold nights snug up in the front of the fire.
