If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

Nestled in the heart of the new forest with wildlife on your door step. We have 2x forest pubs in close walking distance and the beach is a 25 minute drive. You walk out of the gate straight onto the new forest national park with lots of walking and cycling routes available.

The South Downs Way is a short hike away, which leads to a wonderful nature reserve.

This traditionally inspired, hand-made Shepherds Hut is nestled inside a paddock in the leafy county of Hampshire. It offers a tranquil retreat in a home away from home setting with a cosy open plan living space championed by the log burning stove. Enjoy cooking your own English Breakfast - of which eggs are graciously supplied by our chickens -amongst views and visits of our 17 strong Alpaca herd. The Barn features an open plan living, kitchen and sleeping area with a log burning stove, with its own private entrance and small outside area with space for a BBQ. It is a truly fantastic base for you to enjoy what the national park has to offer; including walking, bike riding, horse riding, or exploring the beaches of the south coast.

New Forest cottage by the green

Bramblings is in a magical position, at the edge of Lyndhurst, on the green and just over the cattle grid. It is just a short walk in to Lyndhurst for restaurants, cafes and shopping and there are great walks and cycling direct from the house. Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.
