Base Camp 49

Base Camp 49 is a purpose built micro resort of four two-bedroom nightly rental homes, sleeping up to 6 guests each. Located on the ski trails in the heart of Mazama and the bank of the Methow River. All cabins enjoy covered patios, propane fire pits, and stunning views. Each casita is tastefully furnished with modern décor making the perfect place to relax and build memories. The individual units are named after the nearby mountains: Goat Peak, Sandy Butte, Flagg Mountain and Lucky Jim Bluff.

Historic Discovery Bay Beach Cabin Stunning Views

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Skytop: Breathtaking views and easy walk into town

Whatever the season, Skytop is the ideal base for your Methow Valley adventures. This rustically modern, wheelchair-friendly cottage feels remote, yet downtown Winthrop is a mere quarter-mile away. The new second-story Treehouse Suite (which rents for an additional $100 a night paid directly to the owner) features a gas fireplace and freestanding tub, allowing a second couple or generation to enjoy their privacy while sharing Skytop's kitchen, dining and entertainment space. This cozy riverfront tiny cottage in Index is nestled in the evergreens and overlooks an amazing view of the Skykomish River. The cabin is a mixture of rustic and refined and will be enjoyed by those who want the experience of being in nature while keeping some of the comforts of home. The cabin has full wifi. There is no TV at the cabin but all your streaming options are available via your devices. There is hot running water in the cabin with an RV style toilet and shower.

Our cabin features a modern chef's kitchen, spacious open living and dining area, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. High speed Wifi is available for remote work, or just unplug and enjoy all the valley has to offer. Incredible XC ski and mountain bike trails, epic hiking, rock climbing and more surround us in the Methow Valley. 5 minutes to Mazama Store; 12 minutes to Winthrop.
