We are on the edge of Glen Duror with plenty of forest walks from your door or just relax and watch the Red Squirrels in the garden. Route 78 cycle path is nearby and many Munros are on the doorstep. Fab traditional Glasgow tenement in the leafy south side. The city centre is an easy reach by public transport. Great cafes and eateries in walking distance. Times Top 30 wine bar (with great food) right across the road in a string of independents… corner shop, pizza stop, restaurants, deli, green grocers. Walking distance to Tramway art centre, Hidden Gardens, Bellahouston Park for gigs, Burrell (UK Museum of the Year) and several parks. Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stops right outside for city tours.

The house stands on its own in a rural setting and is close to the ferry for the Island of Kerrera. The view from the house is over looking the Sound of Kerrera with yachts, fishing boats and ferries passing by. It's two miles to Oban which has a large choice of places to eat. There is virtually no public transport to the house. Taxis are available from the railway station area in the town. Visitors are asked to arrive after 17.00 hours and on the morning of departure to leave by 10.00.

The Bothy Suite by Temple Wood

The Bothy Suite is in the 'hidden village' of Slockavullin , delightfully rural but only 1 mile from the village of Kilmartin with Pub, museum and cafe. Temple Wood and the standing stones are in walking distance with the Crinan Canal a short drive or cycle. The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast is continental.

We are within walking distance of public transport links, a shop and local pubs. We have a parking space up the drive in front of the house for our guests.

Accommodation is offered in the simple and stylish conversion of the farm outbuildings. Situated two minutes from Balloch in a quiet and peaceful location. A continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you to prepare including: muesli, bread, milk, orange juice, cheese, oatcakes, fruit, jam, shortbread, ground coffee and a selection of teas.
