Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

A state of the art kitchen and appliances makes large gatherings easy and fun. 4 bedrooms & 2 common areas the cabin allows guests their needed space. This cozy cabin has two bedrooms and a full bath complete with steam shower, a fully stocked kitchen with all the modern amenities, and a wood burning stove & AC. With two decks in the trees and an enclosed outdoor dining space, there is room to spread out and enjoy nature. WIFI is included, and it's a short 10 minute drive into Quincy.

This is the place where kids forget about their IPADS and phones. Boat Dock is removed from Nov 1st to April 1st do to winter/snow conditions. Sorry for the inconvenience

You can enjoy the seasonal heated swimming pool at Sierra Sky Lodge. Hiking, lake swimming and exploring is a beautiful 20 minute drive to the Gold Lakes Basin area. 5 Fantastic golf courses are just 15-30 minutes away. So much to do in our rural area and come back to our peaceful hideaway.
