Riz's Hut Wahkhen

Questo rifugio in bambù si trova nel villaggio di Wahkhen, il paese è ben noto come base per le famose Trekking di Bamboo Trail fino a Mawrynkhang. Gli interni del villaggio di WahKhen sono più belli da esplorare per la sua serenità, la vita del villaggio e la biodiversità delle piante. Anche in realtà Wahkhen è quel "Whistling Village" delle East Khasi Hills, da dove ha avuto origine la pratica di chiamare con il fischio.
