The Rimu Hut - Cosy Bush Escape

A tramping-style A-frame chalet nestled against rimu trees on the edge of a stunning 15-acre native forest block close to the Hunua Ranges in rural South Auckland. Built by the owners using macrocarpa timber grown on the property, it was intended to be a place where their grandchildren could enjoy sleepovers in the forest and afternoon adventures. They soon realised though, that such a special place should be shared so they decided to make it available to others. Cosy in winter, cool in summer!

Fully equipped designer kitchen.

The West Wing at Haven Villa Our Piece of Paradise

Welcome to the West Wing! We live in an old villa on 2 acres of lawn and garden. Near the main house but not attached to it we have our guest house. We have decorated it in keeping with it’s history but with all modern conveniences including Sky TV. We have a comfy king bed in the studio part with a double bed upstairs in the gorgeous retro attic. The upstairs bed is suitable for a smaller couple or a single person or child. We have a lovely, well equipped kitchen.

Safe, clean, self-contained unit surrounded by open sky and fields. Great living areas, ideal for families and small groups. Nice modern kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. A home away from home as it has everything you need with nice outdoor areas. Free parking on premises. Just a 5-minute drive from the town centre, where there are supermarkets, shops, eateries, leisure centres, public transport, various parks, etc. 30-minute drive from Auckland airport.

Stylish guest house with rural outlook, Pokeno

Our Airbnb is a small self-contained guest house away from the main family home. It has its own ensuite bathroom, sun deck, TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, bar fridge and microwave. It overlooks the rolling hills of Waikato and you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from your own deck. It is located in the rural area of Pokeno south of Auckland. It’s conveniently close to SH1 and SH2, but far enough to not hear any traffic.
