Upon arrival enjoy a winter walk along the beach and then light the log fire at supper-time. The next morning, sip coffee and watch the winter sun as it rises over the sea. Wrap up warm in hats & scarves and ride the historic lift to the beach below. Enjoy a cosy lunch in a seafront café & browse the menus of restaurants to find the perfect place for your evening meal. Before bed, unwind in the deep roll top bath then drift off to sleep between cool crisp linens in this peaceful coastal retreat.

Acorn Cottage is a quaint and cosy property, perfect for a couple seeking a tranquil retreat. Nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Guisborough, you will find a selection of shops, cafes, and traditional pubs just a short stroll away. This delightful cottage combines traditional rustic charm with modern comforts. It is the perfect base to explore scenic walking trails, including the famous Cleveland Way and North Yorkshire Coast, before unwinding by the log burning stove.

Hillfoot Cottage is a cosy and comfortable 350 yr old cottage which began life as a pig sty in the quiet country village of Yearby, near Redcar. Offering peace and tranquility with local walks on your doorstep. Located a short drive to the seaside town of Redcar and Market town of Guisborough, within 1/2 hours drive to the North York Moors National Park and Whitby and within 1 hours drive to the Yorkshire Dales. An abundance of wild birds are to be found in the gardens of our cottage.
