SEBEC LAKE, MAINE: Our log cabin sits on a rise with a grand view of the "big lake," 20 miles south of the Hundred Mile Wilderness of the Appalachian Trail. The granite waterfront is perfect for morning coffee & kayak launches (2 for your use); swim off the floating dock in the cleanest lake in Maine. The paths are scented with warm pine needles & blueberries, and as evening approaches, the wood thrushes begin to sing. Loons nest in our cove and will call all night long!
