Learn to live a simple life by vacationing in a Cabin! Whether you're coming to explore all the hiking & biking trails, a ski trip, concert, or one of the many events or races, this is the place to enjoy all that Central Oregon has to offer! Come relax & watch the sunset on the deck of this eco-friendly cabin. Only 15 mins downtown, 30-45 to Bachelor, 20 mins to Les Schwab Amphitheatre. Have you heard we have Uber now? ;)
A private cabin with queen size futon down below and two twin beds up in the loft. The kitchenette includes a two burner hot plate, mini fridge with freezer, toaster oven, tea kettle, French press, and coffee grinder. This is not a full kitchen and not intended to cook full meals (although some guests have been ambitious enough), but rather breakfast and lighter fare. Live the simple life and patron any number of our fabulous restaurants and bars! Enjoy the sunsets from your deck with Adirondack chairs and umbrella for some shade. Detached bathroom "outhouse" has a composting dry toilet, wet toilet, sink, and propane tankless water heater shower. Biodegradable products only please. Being that The Cabin is a small space, it is quite nice having the bathroom detached for ultimate privacy from yourselves!
The Cabin is about 125-150ft away from our home and faces away so that The Cabin door and deck are not visible from our home.
The Cabin has a designated parking space, private deck, detached bathroom and hammock (seasonally).

We live here so feel free to say hello if you see us. We cannot see The Cabin door or deck from our home. Respecting privacy is mutual and we will definitely not bother you at all. Most of the time we only know you're here by seeing your car parked, or walking to and from The Cabin:)
We are available via phone call or text (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Andie

The toilet does not flush, it is composted. There will be plenty of info in the house manual. It's a really neat, clean system that lots of state parks use. There are two toilets, one for liquids and one for solids. Saw dust and coconut fibers are used to sprinkle over each use. Each bag can be used several times. It is generally changed daily, so if you book for more than one day you will need to change the bucket more than once. Please remove the bag and toss away before check out. If you're having a hard time with it, just let me know. I'm happy to help :)
Use your own natural, biodegradable toiletries, or ones provided by host.
Thanks for checking out our cabin. We are both active, young professionals in Bend, OR. We love to hike, mountain bike, run, ski, travel, you name it. We have a small mini farm that is our peaceful retreat, and we love to share it! We have a dog named Rufus, cat named Boba, 16 chickens and a duck named Harriett. We love living the simple life out here at The Farm. The stargazing is incredible out here!
Chris is a Bend native (aka a unicorn!) and Andie is newer to Bend, most recently from Corvallis, OR for the last 8 years. We are both Realtors, so if you have any questions about the area or need advice while planning your trip don't hesitate to reach out!
We look forward to meeting you, cheers!
