This apartment is clean, spacious, private and ideally located. It is close to everything but in a beautifully landscaped, gated compound - a secret oasis! The unit is on the bottom floor of our private house, on two acres of gardens, woodlands and redwood groves. Walking distance to town center, 30 min from SF, 45 min from wine country, 5 min from hw 101. Surrounded by hiking and outdoorsy fun, plus shops, restaurants etc.
The apartment comfortably sleeps 3, with a queen bedroom and a twin bed/ daybed in a nook off the living room. It has a full kitchen, dining area, nearby laundry room (around the corner also on the ground floor of the house), private entrance and its' own parking space. It is quiet and serene, with woodland views from every window. It has a small outdoor patio looking down over the woodlands, with comfy lounge seating, cafe table and a Weber grill.
Overall the space is simple, maybe a little dated, but spacious, clean, well-priced and in an incredible location. The bathroom (especially the shower) could use renovating but is clean and functional and reflected in the price.
Please note that this is a ground floor unit in a family home, so some muffled footstep and other noise from above should be expected. Please also note that the unit is down a longish flight of rather rustic steps, and somewhat far from the parking area down a combination gravel/ paved path, so those with mobility issues should consider this before booking.
The Garden Apartment, its' outdoor area, one parking space and the path between. Guests may use the common lawn occasionally. To enter property gate, pull up close to the gate and it will open automatically.

Owners live in the family home above, and will usually be present and easily available for questions and issues. We request that most communications be through text or phone for privacy reasons. Guests do a self-checkin anytime after 3pm.

Guests should note that the apartment is at the bottom of a long flight of rather rough, rustic outdoor stairs, and somewhat far from the parking area down a part gravel/ part paved path. This isn't an issue for most folks, but those with limited mobility might not find this unit a match.
Please also note that this is a ground floor unit in a family home. As such guests should expect there to be some level of upstairs noise - footsteps, voices, etc. 99% of our guests are fine with this, but extremely noise-sensitive folks might not find this unit a match.
No loud TV, music or other noise after 10pm at night. This is a family home and a quiet neighborhood.
3pm Checkin, 12pm checkout.
Unit comes with one parking space. Please don't bring additional cars onto the property, even for a short time. Street parking is very limited.
Max. 3 sleeping at the unit, 6 total day visitors. No parties.
Guests are expected to sort garbage property. We'll provide instructions.
