You will stay in quiet residential area, far from the traffic, in a pleasant and welcoming flat on the
ground floor, in an exquisite room (the one with Matisse and Renoir posters) with a double or a sinlg bed and an on suite bathroom. Another room (the one with the piano) is eventually available for one or two people with two single beds and a shared bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen is available if you want, and you may also use the living room to read a book, listen to music or enjoy the cool air from the pleasant garden. The flat is located in a very convenient position near to the Certosa di San Martino and to the Castel Sant'Elmo with their magnificent views over the city and the bay. In the nearby there are numerous shops, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs and coffee houses. Moreover the area it is extremely well served by public transport: 1 minute from the Funicolare di Montesanto which takes you to the historic centre: Spaccanapoli, Santa Chiara, the San Severo Chapel, San Gregorio Armeno and the Cathedral; 5 minutes from the Funicolare Centrale which goes to the Spanish Quarters, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino Castle, the San Carlo Opera House, and the Port, where there are fast boats to Capri, Ischia and Procida; 5 minutes from the Funicolare di Chiaia to the elegant area with the upmarket shops, the Madre Modern Art Museum, the Villa Comunale, Castel dell'Ovo, Borgo Marinaro and the great cycling lane along the sea front promenade; 5 minutes also from the underground which will take you to the National (Archeological) Museum and to the Central Station. From the Central Station, beside the main line trains, you can take the Circumvsuviana local railway to Pompei, Hercolaneum and the Sorrento area. The room is well heated in the winter, and is provided with bed linen, and towels. Use of wifi, and washing machine is also available at no extra cost.
