Amazing apartment with everything you need to feel at home. Coffee machine with YUMMY coffee, washing machine, towels, enough space, balcony with stunning ocean view & sunsets, close restaurants & shops, very lovely contact & fast answers to all kinds of questions :-). It was our perfect holiday & we hope to come back asap!

Great location! Close to grocery stores and Dive Shops. I used VIP diving (Merle's suggestion) and I was very happy with them. The unit was clean and spacious with a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds and furniture. It would be nice if the unit had a/c in the common areas. However, the a/c in the bedrooms was great and the trade winds cooled the common areas in the evenings. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks for everything Merel!

My sister and I enjoyed a very nice stay at Merel's condo. The place was more roomy than I expected. The bedrooms were nice and large. The master bathroom was very spacious. The coffee maker was amazing and worth the cost of admission. You might want to stay here for the coffee alone! The view was not exactly what I expected, but it was quite nice. The location was great; within walking distance of many of the better downtown restaurants and many touristy shops. The beach has very easy access for swimmers, snorkelers and scuba divers. I saw a lot of interesting stuff right from that beach. We have been to Bonaire many, many times. We have stayed all over the island. This was my favorite place so far. The apartment takes up the entire third floor of the building and has very nice cross breezes in the living room. Since the building is secure, you can open the front door, if it gets too hot while cooking. Except on the stillest of days, we had very few mosquito issues. Okay folks, this is huge. Bonaire has plenty of mosquitos plus mosquito borne illnesses. I recommend you keep your bedroom doors closed during the day and you will likely not have a problem with mosquitos at Merel's place. But still, don't forget to pack a can of extra strength mosquito repellant, it's very expensive on Bonaire. If you plan to travel the the North side of the island, be sure to bring it with you! To do: Take a pair of binoculars, pack an extra swimsuit, eat at Capriccio's (don't skip dessert: #2 on the dessert menu is to die for). Merel's place is a winner and Conny and her spouse, Peter, were always there for us and completely charming. Have fun! You'll never regret your decision to visit Bonaire. Be kind to all Bonaire's residents, they are wonderful people.
