Here, enjoy an exclusive and intimate dining venue - a Moorish cave and secluded outdoor patio - where we prepare a menu of local tapas and traditional paella, showcasing the best of local produce. I will take you to what I consider the top 4 locations to visit in Valencia in ONE AMAZING EPIC DAY! During the trip we will visit waterfalls, swim in a natural thermal spring lagoon (25C year round), water caves, canyons, and a few surprises along the way. It is not too extreme or strenuous as we move to the different locations with the minivan. Let’s call it a glamventure day :) This is NOT a hiking day. This tour is suited for almost everyone. Fit or not, young or more experienced ;-) I will guide you to get close to the massive waterfall, swim at the thermal springs and really almost whatever you are up to. If you are not so active, all the locations are perfect for chilling, taking amazing pictures and just enjoy a perfect day in the nature with fellow travellers. Of course there are nice stops to have local food and drinks. This experience is perfect for couples, group of friends, families, hen/stag dos and solo travellers.

We are going to do a fun ride most of all through the cycle paths of Valencia. We could visit the Garden of the Turia, the Royal Garden, The City of the Arts and the Sciences... Be prepared to be active and to have fun. It's really easy to ride the E-steps. The first minutes could be a little scary (just a little) but then you will feel free and safe. Catch a breath of mountain air and experience the idyllic thermal springs of Montanejos with us. In this full-day adventure, we will explore the natural beauty of the surrounding areas of Valencia that few visitors ever get to discover. After picking you up from a convenient location, we will travel north out of the city. Our first stop will be at the impressive Bridal Falls - a 55m high waterfall, where we can bask in the surrounding nature and maybe take a dip in the waterfall pools. Watch out for goats and ghosts at this magical spot! We will then discover the legendary Fuente de los Baños - natural thermal springs of crystal clear, medicinal waters. Here, we can swim, explore caves, and relax in the most beautiful of locations. First used in the 13th Century, the springs are constantly rising at a pleasant 25°C, wonderful all year round! After swimming we will get to stop for lunch in the village of Montanejos to re-fuel, as well as visiting the impressive horizontal waterfall, canyons, lake, and dam! We believe in leaving places better than we found them, which is why we only use local providers and have built long-lasting friendships in the villages we visit. If you choose to join us, you will get to see this in action, interact with locals, and we plant a tree for every guest! This really is the perfect way to escape the city and be at one with nature for a day.

La nostra passeggiata comincia nella stazione di treno, la "Estación del Norte". Stile modernista è stata inaugurata nel 1917 come porta di Valencia al mondo. Vediamo come importante è stato l'export delle aranchie per l'economia della città. Andiamo avanti fino la Piazza del Comune e l'Ufficio Postale. Quest'ultimo è anche un palazzo dell'inizio del XX. secolo. Stile neoclásico. Veramente bello. 200 metri e siamo nel "centro commerciale" giacché il Mercato Centrale (1928) e in fronte a la Loggia della Seta (XV secolo). Vero esempio dell'architettura gotica civile in Europa e principalmente nella Spagna. Anche la seta è stata nel XV secolo il motore dello sviluppo di Valencia. Comincia cosí il percorso sulle 3 piazzze: Piazza Circolare, Piazza della Regina e Piazza della Madonna. Nucleo religioso dove troviamo la Catedrale e la Basilica della Madonna dei Poveri e gli Abbandonati. Il Palazzo della Generalitat (Governo regionale) ci mostra la via per vedere le Torres di Serranos, le antiche muraglie della città (anche di stilo gotico, oggigiorno soltanto queste e quelle di Quart rimangono). Ritorniamo per vedere la terza porta della Catedrale e dopo la via "de la Paz". Nella via Poeta Querol si trova il Palazzo del Marchese di Dos Aguas, un palazzo barrco del XVIII secolo. Shopping time nelle vie Don Juan de Austria e Colon, vero "shopping hub" della città e anticamera del Mercato de Colón. Fine della nostra passeggiata e il luogo perfetto per prendere un café. Tras encontrarnos en Huerto Ribera, iniciaremos juntos un precioso recorrido por la finca, la fachada monumental de 1870, rodeada por montañas, con unas vistas increíbles en plena naturaleza. Pasearemos por los jardines del Huerto Ribera con naranjos centenarios. Caminaremos entre naranjos, conoceremos su tradicional cultivo, comparándolo con las técnicas más modernas, y veremos todas las variedades de cítricos plantadas: Sanguinelli, Citrus Yuzu, Mano de Buda, Limas, Caviar cítrico, Calamondin, Kumquats... Aprenderéis todo sobre el cultivo de los cítricos. Conoceréis su historia, los sistemas de plantación, de poda, de riego, injertos… También os contaremos la situación de los agricultores y del sector citrícola para acercaros la realidad del campo valenciano. Podréis recolectar vuestras propias naranjas o mandarinas de temporada (en temporada, de febrero a junio) y observar distintas variedades de cítricos. Il posto era un ex macellaio convertito in uno dei luoghi più iconici del quartiere, presente a Lonely Planet, Guide AD , Tripadvisor e in molti altri post, LaLlarga sarà un luogo straordinario per stare insieme per le ore della nostra lezione. Nella vecchia panca in marmo originale prepareremo gli ingressi, il bar e la paglia di legno gusteremo l'acqua di Valencia, che faremo con arance fresche e alcuni vini locali. Nel bel mezzo del locale ci concentreremo su di lei, l'indiscussa regina della cucina valenziana: la paella! Senza stress e in modo facile e intuitivo, impareremo a tagliare gli ingredienti, in cui metterli e come dosare bene tutto in modo che la magia venga soddisfatta. I will take you to a 3 hours tapas experience to discover the most authentic tapas, bars and neighborhoods of Valencia. In this evening walk you will discover the Valencia that very few tourists have the chance to see and you will enjoy it like a local. 4 stops in total and a many things to discover. Old taverns, vibrant tapas and great local drinks, everything is included in the price and the fun is guaranteed. All the included spots are family-owned bussines, and I'm lucky to know the owners. At the end of the tour you'll feel like one of us! The total distance is about 1,5km but we go at a slow pace. We will go to the Ruzafa Market to buy the ingredients for our paella. Later, we will go to our Paella School by walking through Ruzafa neighborhood. Once we get there we all will enjoy some of the traditional spanish tapas, such as patatas bravas, ham, olives and mussels. You'll be the one who help us to prepare the very famous sangría! We want to teach you how to prepare the traditional valencian paella and show you how any valencian group of friends would spend a fun evening. You will also learn about the culinary traditions and rice varieties. When the cooking it's done we all sit at the table and enjoy your first paella. The main ingredients of the Valencian paella are chicken, rabbit and vegetables. THE MARKETS IN VALENCIA CLOSE IN THE AFTERNOON. If just arrived in town this is a perfect introduction to the Spanish gastronomy, the essentials of Valencia and the local culture! During this food tour we will live to the rhythm of the city and we will eat where the citizens of Valencia used to go, away from the ultra tourist sites. More than a tour, we will live a cultural, walking and gastronomic tour in the same experience. We will go to a local bar where we will have an authentic almuerzo/breakfast as the Valencianos do: the iconic Esmorzaret! We will discover Valencia's old stores and taste their fresh products, have a delicious breakfast, visit the emblematic central market where we will stand to eat Iberian ham, olives, cheese and wine from the region. We will continue this fantastic adventure having a light lunch with obviously one of the most typical dish of Spain with drinks included in a bar / restaurant well appreciated by the inhabitants of our beloved city. We will be visiting 5 spots in total. All the places we go are traditional and family businesses, some of them over 200 years old.
