Located inside “Parque nacional da Tijuca”, sector C, between Pedra da Gavea and São Conrado. The hike takes approximately 40minutes to 1 hour. The trail goes through some vegetation but the surprise comes when you arrive on the top, with a gorgeous view of Pedra da Gavea and Sao Conrado, Barra, Ipanema and Leblon beaches.

Pedra Bonita

The Pedra da Gávea trail is one of the most beautiful and challenging hikes in the city of Rio de Janeiro due to its steepness. Located within the Tijuca National Park and passing through the Atlantic Forest. From the top, the views stretch across the entire city of Rio de Janeiro - it’s possible to see Sugarloaf, Christ the Redeemer, beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Sao Conrado.
Ps: We strongly recommend hiring an instructor as sometimes the hike can be pretty steep. In case needed, we have some contact options.

The Pedra da Gávea trail is one of the most beautiful and challenging hikes in the city of Rio de Janeiro due to its steepness. Located within the Tijuca National Park and passing through the Atlantic Forest. Located at Parque Nacional da Tijuca, The Horto Waterfall is a short trail (30 minutes) along the forest and at the end you will encounter two waterfalls. We strongly recommend the use of closed footwear since the trail can be slippery.

Joatinga beach is a small beach at Joá, surrounded by cliffs. The only way to arrive at the beach is by a mini trail (20 minutes), going down the cliffs. The beach is only 220ml and its amazing, a perfect place to relax and noise free.
