Roaring Gap in the Blue Ridge Mountains

On Friday mornings between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Shops at the Gap on Hwy 21 right down the street (take a left on Hwy 21). Gail and Barry at the Antique shop are wonderful people with beautiful pieces. D&B Boutique has great boutique clothing, jewelry, shoes and other great finds! The Posh Fox and Painted Bird can be found by taking a Right on Hwy 21. Most of the above stores are open from April/May to October.

But walking in our High Meadows neighborhood is a great exercise option!

In the Winter months (Dec through March), winter weather can drop in without much warning. The driveway to our property is very steep (as our other roads in High Meadows). If precipitation and below freezing temps are expected, a four wheel drive vehicle is almost a must! Some of our winter guests have had to park at the top of our driveway and "hike" in during winter storms.
