Just across the street, from the window of the apartment, you will see the National Palace of Culture. This building is huge in its size and has been built in only less then three years back in the 80s during the communism in Bulgaria. Today, after recent renovation, the EU governs inside. A place worth visiting!

The old name of the city park might give the impression that the place is only suitable for people with dogs. On the contrary, there you will find lots of young people playing games on the grass, elderly people sitting on benches, kids running around, riding bicycles etc. There are also some good restaurants where you can enjoy the great green view.
