Nice hike for the day! The Mount Zion Trail is a well defined path the switchbacks up the hillside to the summit.
Most of the trail is dense, lush forest. The top is partially wooded, but there are views of Mount Rainier on a clear day. Just over a mile from the start, there is another nice overlook to stop at. It is considered a hard trail and is 3.4 miles long. The elevation gain will be 1,320 ft and you must go there with lots of water, food, and extra clothes. Check the All Trails application for more information on how to get there! Enjoy and be safe!
