Anneröd-Hogsäm is a popular excursion destination, especially because of its beautiful beech forest. The surroundings are also excellent walking areas. Part of the Soteleden runs through the area. Torparslingan, a cultural trail with croft grounds, also runs in parts of the reserve. There are amenities such as windbreaks and an overnight cabin.
Start the walk at Gränsnäsgatan 14 in Bovallstrand 500 meters from the cottage.
