One of Nashville's best kept secrets is it's Greenway system. One 99 miles over paved trails closed to motorized traffic. Perfect for walks, runs, and bikes rides!
There are lots of trails heads, but the easiest one to get to is the Kohl's Trail head (the address listed above). Turn right and take it 3 miles to the beautiful (but sometimes smelly) Piercy Priest Damn Park. Or turn right, and take it all way through hip East Nashville, an old abandoned airpark, and in to Lower Broadway in downtown Nashville. That route is 10-15miles one-way and is only recommended if you have a bike, or if you're a SERIOUS hiker! There are tons of e-bikes you can rent around town.
