site. Daily user fee of per person for paddlers,
swimmers and picnickers. There is a $20.00 launch fee
for motor vessels. Children under the age of 5 are free.
Pets (excluding service animals) and alcohol are not
permitted in the park. Tube rentals are $25 plus tax
and include the return shuttle service. You will park
and launch your tube at the KP Hole, tube down the
river, exit at the Tuber’s Exit and a shuttle van will bring
you back to the KP Hole. You can enter the river at

McCoy, FL 32134. This spring has four vertical spring
vent shafts, all inside a large, shallow spring pool. In
most areas, the spring pool is only a few feet deep
though it varies with the underlying aquifer water level.
Areas over the spring vents can be up to 20 ft deep.
There is an entry fee to the park, and the park can
become very crowded on weekends and holidays in
hot weather.

Approximately an hour and a half drive southeast from
Retreat One, visit the Orlando area known as “The
Theme Park Capital of the World”. There you will find
famous Florida attractions such as the Magic Kingdom,
Epcot, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, the
Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Orlando
Resort, SeaWorld and Legoland Florida. In addition to
the theme parks, there are a host of water-themed
parks as well.
St. Augustine, Florida
Just under a two-hour drive, you will reach St.
Augustine, a city on the northeast coast of Florida
claimed to be the oldest city in the United States. It is
also known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well
as beautiful sandy Atlantic Ocean beaches. The
Castillo de San Marcos is a 17th century Spanish stone
fortress with views of the St. Augustine Inlet. After
visiting the fort, there is a (walkable) area with shops
and dining.
