Every Saturday morning, from 7am to 1pm, in front of the two banks on Ala Malama Street, Kaunakakai comes alive with 35 vendors selling fresh produce; baked goods; and Hawaiian-made jewelry, paintings, and crafts. There are a handful of shops nearby, where you can pop in to do more shopping.

Rental Car Recommended

There are taxis on the island but no Uber, Lyft or public transportation available. Reserving a rental car in advance is highly recommend. Even though it is a relatively small island, you will want a car to explore all that Moloka’i has to offer.
