Batch and Brine is great. They have a great menu that offers out-of-the-box burgers, sandwiches, shareable plates, salads, and they have an amazing weekend brunch. They also have a nice bar and an extensive beer selection.

Great local hiking
Lafayette Reservoir is only 10 minutes from my house and is ideal for hiking, jogging, fishing, boating and picnicking.
Rowboats and pedal boats can be rented.
Families, groups and companies can reserve picnic areas holding 50 or 200 people. Many individual tables and barbecues accommodate smaller groups. Two play areas offer lively fun for children. The park has restrooms and a disabled-access fishing dock with adjacent parking.
