This is our favorite place for brunch in Clermont! Located in downtown Clermont with shops all around. Something for everyone.
Cheeser's Palace Cafe
707 W Montrose StLocated in Tavares. It’s off the beaten path just a little. The building has some age and endless character. This place is extremely popular by all guest who come to lake county. Give it a visit and you’ll see why. The only thing better than Mary’s food is her employee team and customer service!!

Something for everyone whether early mornings or later evenings. So much to offer.
Check the calendar, Mt Dora plays host to more arts and craft festivals than any other town in the country. If you’re around during one of these events…you’re in for a treat!

Something for everyone!! Kids play area; basketball courts; dog park; bike and walk trails that go for 10+ miles.
Minneola Trailhead Park
315 Madison StreetLake Hiawatha Preserve is a 220-acre oak woodlands and lakefront park that includes two dog parks, a unique children’s playground, a top ranked 18-hole Disc Golf Trail, picnic pavilion, restrooms, kayak launch, and walking paths. Also, it is intersected by the South Lake / Lake Apopka walking and bike trail.
Of particular interest to me is the kayak launch onto Lake Minneola, which is on the east side of Hwy 561 (12th St.) across from the main entrance to the Preserve. The carry-in kayak launch site includes a shallow water sandy beach for easy access. Mornings are probably the best time for beginners since the wind kicks up on this open lake later in the day.
Enjoy walking along the canopy of oak trees along the lake front. A couple of boardwalk/piers provide a grand view of the lake and provides a cool breeze.

This place is amazing. Right on Lake Dora. Seaplanes all around. Never had a bad food/service experience! In this area there are several places to relax and dine by water—-but PJs is a favorite of ours!

Wife and I tried the COB within a month of moving to Clermont! We loved it and have been back once monthly since! If you like oysters, crab legs, wings, and a cold draft while you watch the game…you’ll love the COB.
