It is across the street from Hunting Beach State park. It is 10,000 acres and we hear it is the worlds larges outdoor sculpture garden. There are all kind of plants, flowers and sculptures to look at, an oak allee that is awesome to walk down, a small zoo and few excursions around the property you can do - one is a boat ride on the river. If you do one of the backwoods excursions, you get a lot of history about the property's plantation days.

There are also all kinds of boating excursions you can do from the Marshwalk. During the weekends there are live bands at various venues and outdoors, and people walk along the deck paths at the marsh and hang out. You can get drinks down there or meals. If you search Murrells Inlet Marshwalk you will find the website showing the area. There are also a lot of other restaurants along the road leading up to the Marshwalk. We love the little ice cream shack across from Bovines :-)
